Word chain
Each new word starts with the last letter of the previous one – a quick game without materials that challenges active vocabulary.
How to play
- 1
The first student says a word in the target language, e.g. “perro”.
- 2
The next says a word starting with its last letter: “oso”.
- 3
Whoever hesitates or repeats a word sits down.
- 4
The last three students win.
Variations
- Topic: only words from one area, e.g. food.
- With translation: everyone also gives the meaning.
