Vocabulary bingo
Everyone plays at once and everyone has to listen: bingo is one of the easiest whole-class revision games.
How to play
- 1
Each student draws a 3 × 3 grid.
- 2
Students write nine words from the unit in any order.
- 3
You call out the meanings in random order, and students cross out the matching word.
- 4
The first to get three in a row shouts “Bingo” and reads the words with their translations as a check.
Variations
- Definitions: instead of the translation, give an explanation in the target language.
- Full house: keep playing until someone has crossed out all nine squares.
