In many parts of the world, the weather changes a lot with the seasons. In spring, the days get longer and warmer. Flowers start to bloom, and trees grow new leaves. People often feel happier because the cold winter is over. It can still rain a lot, but the rain helps the plants grow. Sometimes, there is even a little snow in early spring, but it doesn’t stay for long. Children enjoy playing outside after school, and families go for walks in the park. Summer is the warmest season, and the sun shines almost every day. Many people go on holiday to the beach or the mountains. Days are long, and the nights are short. Sometimes, it gets too hot, and there are thunderstorms in the afternoon. In autumn, the weather becomes cooler, and the leaves on the trees change colour. They turn red, yellow, and brown before falling to the ground. Winter brings cold weather, and in some places, it snows. People wear warm clothes and drink hot tea. The days are short, but the holidays make winter special for many families.
