Last week, I woke up feeling really unwell. My throat was sore, my head ached, and I had a high temperature. I tried to drink some tea and rest, but after two days, I still didn’t feel any better. My mother suggested I should see a doctor, so I made an appointment for the next morning. The doctor’s office was quite busy when I arrived, but the receptionist was friendly and told me to wait in the waiting room. I sat there for about twenty minutes before the nurse called my name and took me to the examination room. The doctor asked me how I was feeling and listened carefully as I described my symptoms. She checked my temperature, looked at my throat, and listened to my chest with a stethoscope. After the examination, she told me I had a bad cold and a slight infection in my throat. She prescribed some medicine and advised me to drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest. I felt relieved to know it wasn’t anything serious, and I left the office with my prescription, ready to start feeling better soon.
